A New Day Is Coming

COVID19 has had a massive impact.  I don't know a human not affected by how this virus has ran rampant through the world.  Some people have more time on their hands, others have far less.  Some people are seeing more of their loved ones, some are seeing less.  EVERYONE is seeing business performed differently.  From arrows on aisles, to corrals at door entries to navigate flow, to curbside deliveries.  While we are not all in the same boat, we are all weathering the same storm.

Personally, my grandmother has just entered hospice.  Prior to COVID when family could visit her frequently (she has dementia and required skill care givers to keep her safe) she was doing well physically.  Now we are meeting with hospice because the lack of her routine has left her health to fade and disappear.  She has lived a long life and has had many blessings but this may be the hardest passing I could have anticipated for her.  That the absence of us as forced by safety for COVID is the thrusting cause.

In the coming weeks we hope to allow clients to enter our building.  This is tricky on so many levels.  Our safety.  Your safety.  Staff ability to maintain efficiency and cleanliness.  Supplies.  TIME.  While we acknowledge your strong desire to be with your pet, we must trust our hearts which tell us that we have to respect the safety and well-being of our team above all else.  We believe that in the end most will understand and accept this as the new norm.

For now, please know that we are still requiring you to call from your parked vehicle position upon arrival to our office.  We will do most communication if not all from the phone.  And except for very special circumstances we will not be accepting clients into our building doors just yet.
